Wired first boat home in 41st race

The TP52 Wired has taken line honours in the 41st PIC Coastal Classic. The TP52 owned by Rob Bassett was designed by Brett Bakewell-White and has done many miles with her crew over the last 13 years.


The the top ten finishers (on line) were:


Wired – at 1947hrs

Apache – 1955hrs (first multihull)

Mayhem – 1957hrs

Clockworks – 2004hrs

Sassinate – 2017hrs

Lucifier – 2106hrs

Kotuku – 2121hrs

Menace – 2126hrs

Menace – 2126hrs

The PIC Coastal Classic is proudly organised by the New Zealand Multihull Yacht Club

The NZMYC are dedicated to promoting Multihulls and Multihull sailing, providing a number of events from racing to cruising over the year.

Members can draw on over thirty years of experience; there are a number of designers in the club, both amateur and professional and a number of talented builders.

 

The NZMYC now make their home at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron on the Westhaven breakwater.
