Magic moments from the start



The New Zealand Multihull Yacht Club and PIC Insurance Brokers present highlights from the start of the 40th PIC Coastal Classic. This 119 nautical mile race is one of the most famous in the world, starting off Devonport Wharf in Auckland, and finishing off Russell Wharf in the Bay of Islands. 164 starters spanned the spectrum of yachting, from the most high-tech and speedy, to wooden classics and family cruisers. The PIC Coastal Classic is proudly organised by the New Zealand Multihull Yacht Club

​

The NZMYC are dedicated to promoting Multihulls and Multihull sailing, providing a number of events from racing to cruising over the year.

​

Members can draw on over thirty years of experience; there are a number of designers in the club, both amateur and professional and a number of talented builders.

 

The NZMYC now make their home at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron on the Westhaven breakwater.

We welcome enquiries and are always open to new people interested in joining the multihull fraternity.
