The 36Degrees Cruising Rally is now a favourite part of the PIC Coastal Classic. This year, keep an eye out for a New Zealand-first Excess 15 catamaran.

From Bordeaux, France, to the coastal waters of New Zealand, these adventurous owners completed a semi-circumnavigation in just 9 months. An extraordinary trip taking them through West Indies, Galapagos and tropical islands of French Polynesia before landing in New Zealand.

Contemporary and sporty, ‘Binx’ will certainly turn a few heads at this year’s PIC Coastal Classic.

The Excess 15 is the first of a new series of Catamarans, built by BENETEAU Groupe and designed by VPLP, world leader in racing multihull design. A new generation of performance-minded cruising boats, featuring aft twin helms, a high rig and sail plan, 360° visibility, generous cockpit and all the comforts of home below deck.

A new model Excess 12 is available to purchase, landing in NZ late 2022. Chat to the 36° Brokers team for more information on the Excess or Beneteau range of world-class cruising boats.
