Help save lives while you sail

If you enjoy the water in New Zealand you're probably familiar with the risks our harsh sun presents. More than 4000 people are diagnosed with melanoma in New Zealand every year and more than 350 New Zealanders die each year from it - that's higher than our road toll. The good news is melanoma is almost always curable if it's caught and treated early enough.

That's why the PIC Coastal Classic is very proud to be partnering with Melanoma New Zealand, a charity that is dedicated to the prevention and early detection of melanoma, as well as supporting melanoma patients and their families.

To support this fantastic cause, we're challenging sailors and support crew to get behind our PIC Coastal Classic - Melanoma NZ Givealittle campaign to raise awareness about melanoma detection and prevention. Help us to spread the word! Please visit our Givealittle campaign. Sign up to participate, and share it with your crew, friends and family.

Your support of this campaign will help many Kiwis stay melanoma-free.

We have a fantastic prize for the highest total raised, so get competitive!

Thank you for supporting this great cause, and happy sailing between now and the race start on 25 October!
