Entry flexibility around PHRF and Cat 3 submissions
We recognise the challenges some of you may be facing with the new Cat 3 processes and paperwork and let’s face it, this year has flown by faster than expected,. In light of this we’re introducing some flexibility around both Cat 3 and PHRF certificates to ensure a smooth entry for everyone. Here’s what you need to know.
PHRF Certificates
Yachting New Zealand has extended the application deadline to October 18th with no late entry fee but please apply earlier if you can.
Extended Cat 3 Submission Deadline
You can now submit your Cat 3 certificate up until the day of the race briefing on October 24th. While we will waiver the late entry fee for certificates submitted after the deadline of October 18th, you still need to officially have entered the race by Friday, October 18th to take advantage of this offer.
In a nutshell - enter, with or without your PHRF/Cat by 18 October and you won’t be charged late penalty fees.
A reminder on booking your Cat3
You need to contact your inspector first to check they are available and then complete the Yachting New Zealand online application at YNZ.Check out the instructions here.
